I'm using MM for a slide show, and have spent hours putting the movie
together. I'm only using pictues as clips, and have set the duration for all the clips at 5 seconds. I've also faded out each individual music file to match the sequeces. The program compiles the movie into a good wmv file, and everthing matches up, but when I burn it to disc with Roxio, and go play it on my DVD player all the timing is off. Some clips last 1 sec, others last 4, and all the music is off. What am I doing wrong. Thanks for any help! |

This can happen if you use incompatible file types with MM, so stills should
be bitmap and music wav/wma, not jpeg and mp3. Also, if you do lots of slideshows you may want to look at photostory, which is free from MS and is designed for this job rather than MM which is for video. link here http://www.myvideoproblems.com/WebPa...Programmes.htm -- Graham Hughes MVP Digital Media www.myvideoproblems.co.uk www.dvds2treasure.com www.simplydv.com "Movie Maker" <Movie Maker@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:43B0C1E7-53AD-4ED7-98F4-44052C77FE46@microsoft.com... > I'm using MM for a slide show, and have spent hours putting the movie > together. agreed, 99% of all my "saving movie" troubles and even the final "make a
DVD" problems have gone away since I started converting all music to wav before adding it to moviemaker. I still use jpeg pictures with no problems, but I do usually use the microsoft powertoy picture resizer to reduce them (copies) to a minimum of 1024 x 768 before adding them.
