I have a movie on the story board (combination of video clips from DV tapes,
photos from two digital cameras, imported music, effects and transistions) that is about 3 hours 40 minutes. So that I can save and/or burn to a DVD, how do I split or divide the movie on the story board into fourths (maximum of 60 minutes each) for DVD+/-R or halves (maximum of 120 minutes each) for DVD+/-R)? Or how can I save and/or burn the whole movie to a DVD+R DL (maximum of 240 minutes)? Thanks in advance! |

This should help you with the splitting.
I've not found DL to be very compatible, but others have not had such a problem. I think you may be able to get your movie down to 3 dvds, depending on what authoring programme you are using. http://www.myvideoproblems.com/Tutor...lexProject.htm -- Graham Hughes MVP Digital Media www.myvideoproblems.co.uk www.dvds2treasure.com www.simplydv.com "Mickey" <Mickey@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:B548057D-13C0-4CFB-BB6C-76DE19F03206@microsoft.com... >I have a movie on the story board (combination of video clips from DV >tapes, > photos from two digital cameras, imported music, effects and transistions) > that is about 3 hours 40 minutes. > > So that I can save and/or burn to a DVD, how do I split or divide the > movie > on the story board into fourths (maximum of 60 minutes each) for DVD+/-R > or > halves (maximum of 120 minutes each) for DVD+/-R)? > > Or how can I save and/or burn the whole movie to a DVD+R DL (maximum of > 240 > minutes)? > > Thanks in advance! > |

Thank you. I'll try the process indicated. I had already saved the project 4
times so I will start the edit process on each to produce four 60 minute projects.
