Default Jerky Panning/Zooming in PhotoStory3 Project

I'm working on a project in PS3 that is nearly 9 minutes long, contains 105
photos and the project file is 225MB in size. I imported the photos, and
music and previewed it using the default motion and duration and crossFade
transition, just to get an idea how it looked before I started making any
changes. I noticed for some photos, the pan/zoom is nice and smooth, but with
others, it is jerky. Not smooth at all. What can I do to correct this?
I'm using a Dell
XPS custom built, 3.4 Ghz, 4GB Ram, XP Pro SP2, 7200 rpm HD.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default Re: Jerky Panning/Zooming in PhotoStory3 Project

Hi papa53
I use PS3 on a very regular basis. When I get a pan/zoom that is not smooth
it is generally because I have the duration set low so it is a fast
pan/zoom. If I don't have the option of slowing it down I render it as a
smaller size video (640x480) and that tends to work properly. I have gone so
far as to create that short portion separately and then create the rest of
the slideshow at 1024x768 then put them together with Movie Maker but only
when I truly feel the need to render the movie in 1024x768 otherwise I just
do the whole thing as a 640x480 or 800x600 movie.
