I need to be able to extract video from a DVD movie and insert the video clip
in a PowerPoint slide. These are video depostions, not commercially produced DVD movies. Will Microsoft Movie Maker allow me to do this? Any help greatly appreciated |

Not without the fuss of converting the files. I found it easier to use an
mpeg editor. For a reasonable amount of money you can get Ulead videostudio9, with this you can import the dvd files, edit and export back out as whatever you want. Be aware editing mpegs is not very accurate due to the way they are made. See here for my experiences with editing mpegs. http://www.myvideoproblems.com/Tutor...dCamcorder.htm -- Graham Hughes MVP Digital Media www.myvideoproblems.co.uk www.dvds2treasure.com www.simplydv.com "Bill H" <BillH@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:83F943CD-47A5-4B5C-8329-932407FD6304@microsoft.com... >I need to be able to extract video from a DVD movie and insert the video >clip > in a > PowerPoint slide.
