Hello John,

Thank you for the links, but I was wondering if there's free software I can
download to burn my DVD?

Sorry, I don't know of anything free....did
your DVD burner come with software?

Maybe someone else can offer some ideas.

Do you want free cd burning software or free dvd?
There is lots of vcd/svcd for burning cd's around, vcdeasy is one very good
one, link here
http://www.myvideoproblems.com/WebPa...Programmes.htm
Along with a tutorial.
If it's dvd that you want, then you'll only find really rough stuff out
there, in my opinion, as the mpeg codec has to be paid for, so is licensed
to people who charge for the software.
Also check www.videohelp.com as they list dvd players and what formats they
can play. MM only makes HiMat cd's which really only play on pc's.

I agree with Graham. You get what you pay for IMO.
But take a look at the list of DVD Programs on my website. They aren't free
but most of them (Ulead for certain) offer free trial versions that do work
to create a DVD.

CD files are a different format that is not accepted by most DVD
players, but some newer ones can play many different formats.
What to do, what to do?
If you have a DVD burner then burning to DVD is the answer. Given the
fact that MM2 won't write to anything except disc or CD, you need other
software like SONIC to burn a DVD disc.
If you can only burn CDs you may need to shop for a DVD player that can
handle CD movies too.

People often say there are DVD players that can play computer files from a
CD but I have yet to find one.
Fact is you CAN use a CD but you still need other software, I personally
don't recommend Sonic but rather Ulead Movie Factory or DVD workshop, to
create a VCD which is basically a lower quality DVD on a CD.
