Can't Select or See Audio Input Source
I have a Dell 8400 with integrated SoundMAX audio. When I select the
narration Option in Movie maker an 'UNKNOWN ERROR' window pops up. After closing the ERROR window I get to the Narration window and see 'SoundMAX Digitalo Audio' in the Audio Device drop down menu but nothing in the 'Audio input source' drop down menu. I have reinstalled the SoundMAX driver to no avail. All of my other applications seem to be able to find this piece of hardware and it's inputs and outputs. My other PC, a Dell 8200 (older) with a SoundBlaster PCI card does not have this problem. Can anyone help!? -- Deacon
