Hello all,
I'm having trouble with my WMM seeing my camcorder. WMM does not show the camcorder in the list of devices when I go to "capture video". I am trying to using the rca (yellow) video input on the front of my HP Media Center from the video out of the camcorder. Should this work or do I need a S-video connection? Thanks for the help. Ed |

You need an analog capture device... see the Analog Video Capture section of
my website. I have an HP MCE system also and use a Dazzle 80 or connect my Hi8 camcorder to my digital one and pass the signal thru it into Movie Maker. -- PapaJohn Movie Maker 2 and Photo Story 3 website - http://www.papajohn.org MM2 Tips and Tricks: http://www.simplydv.co.uk/simplyBB/viewtopic.php?t=4693 Online Newsletters: http://www.windowsmoviemakers.net/PapaJohn/Index.aspx "Ed" <Ed@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:64155CE0-7EF6-4622-91C3-93BF41931908@microsoft.com... > Hello all, > I'm having trouble with my WMM seeing my camcorder. Thanks for the quick response! That is what I thought. I just picked up a
Dazzle 90 on sale at Best Buy, so I'll be making movies shortly. Thanks again, Ed "PapaJohn (MVP)" wrote: > You need an analog capture device... see the Analog Video Capture section of > my website.
