Default Converting ITunes .m4p for use in WMM

I have downloaded music from iTunes (comes in .m4p format) that cannot be
opened by Windows Media Player, and therfore cannot be imported into WMM. Is
there a way to convert so the music can be added to a movie being formed in
?WMM?

check the Importing Source Files > Music and Audio page of my site.... my
normal method is to play it in iTunes and capture it as a narration file in
MM2 as it plays. Most people burn a CD and then rip it back into the
computer.

Hi PapaJohn,
Thanks for that - have tried the narrative and that worked. I tried burning
to CD and then attempted to rip but Windows Media Player would not open the
file from the CD - agian cold I check if there is a trick or process to
ripping from the CD?
Thanks

I don't think an iTunes song will allow you to convert to another format.
You can right click on the purchased song and it says it will convert it to
an .mp3, but when you try to do it, a message appears that it is a protected
file and cannot be converted. I have tried many times, but to no avail.
Apple store clerks have told me it can't be converted....
