Has anyone a clue for my problem ?

After splitting some clips or adding some effects the preview window does
not show the result (still image) while the timeline marker is running.

Other times the preview window is late in showing the result (looking at the
position of the timeline marker).

Could the problem be caused by extra's like the creativity fun pack, winter
fun pack, rehan pips, papajohn speed change, etc ???

No the extras you installed wouldn't have an effect on anything unless used
and even then I have never seen problems reported from their use. More
likely the problem is with the filetypes you are using, which are what?

I always capture in (DV) AVI.

Then I honestly don't have an answer for you outside of trying to do a
Windows Restore or uninstall/reinstall of SP2 to reinstall WMM2.1
