Okay - so I have version 2.0. I have all the codecs I need, and everything
will read in the viewer if I add to timeline. But when I start making a movie (with just pictures) and try to play it back onthe timeline, the viewer is blank. What can I do to fix this problem!?! Help please! I know this has been a similar problem with other people, but my video, pics, etc all are read by the viewer, just not when I'm trying to play back a movie. If it is a possible codec problem, which one might it be and I'll download it ASAP! -- dixie27 |

Try converting the JPG's to BMP's and see if the problem persists.

I have tried that and I get the same problem. My thought is that maybe it's a
codec problem? since the viewer will show the pics or videos I'm using when dropped and dragged or sent to timeline, just not when I try to play back. Thing is, I think I have all the codecs 'cause when I copaired them to my bro's (where everything works fine) we seem to have the same codecs in the system. If there is a package of codecs that may be helpful, where might I find it? Ever see this problem before? I'm a bit frustrated and dissapointed. -- dixie27 "Wojo" wrote: > Try converting the JPG's to BMP's and see if the problem persists. > -Wojo > > "dixie27" <dixie27@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:4B7B1151-6C72-47AD-860B-159C9AD48D7A@microsoft.com... > > Okay - so I have version 2.0. I have seen the problem before but it is usually due to JPG's, MPG's, or
MP3's being used. It could very well be a codec problem even if you and your brother seem to have the same codec's installed you could have a bad codec or corrupt codec. The best source for 100% tested and known good codec packages that I know of is here: http://www.free-codecs.com/ Hope that helps. -Wojo "dixie27" <dixie27@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:7525A5A6-7210-4DC9-84CC-04B45418562A@microsoft.com... >I have tried that and I get the same problem.
