I was having a problem with Movie Maker 2.1 a long time ago. I figured
downgrading may help the problem, so I downgraded to 2.0. Now I've found the actual solution to the problem... and it requires the "compatibility" tab in "options", which is present in 2.1 but not 2.0. I don't know how to re-upgrade without installing SP2. I don't even know how to do that, because I already *have* SP2! Is there any way to just get 2.1 by itself for a re-upgrade? |

If you have a fast connection you can download SP2 to your hard drive from the following site and then install it. Windows XP SP2 http://tinyurl.com/6ubys If it does not update you to MM2.1 maybe the following article will be useful. What can I do if I upgrade to Windows XP SP2 and Windows Movie Maker 2.1 is not installed successfully? http://tinyurl.com/65pfo If you have a slow connection you may want to order SP2 on a CD. Order a MS Windows XP SP2 CD http://tinyurl.com/6g675 -- John Inzer MS Picture It! MVP How to ask a newsgroup question: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 |
