I have some clips that Windows Media Player plays fine. If I try to import them into Windows Movie
Maker it says it can't import them because the codec is not available. Windows Media play says the codecs are: Audio codec: MPEG Layer-3 Decoder Video codec: Nero Video Decoder Nero Video Decoder is checked in the Windows Movie Maker Options\Compatibility options. Why is Windows Movie Maker unable to import a file that Windows Media Player can play? |

MM does not work well with Mpegs, you'll have to convert them to dv-avi or
wmv to use them. -- Graham Hughes MVP Digital Media www.myvideoproblems.co.uk www.dvds2treasure.com www.simplydv.com "Stewart Berman" <sabmsdn@saberman.com> wrote in message news:amlhr157da90hb2hj2a7p5qhnln1p8hj4n@4ax.com... >I have some clips that Windows Media Player plays fine.
