In Nero 6 :

Foa a music CD when you click on the Burn Icon under the burn tab you have
the option to finalise the CD.

If you burn a data disc (mp3's for example) choose the multi session option,
tick "no multisession" then click the burn tab and tick finalise CD

Cheers,
Jerry

If the plectrum's answer doesn't help, uninstall Nero, then restart your PC
and re-install it. I have had many little episodes with Nero which have been
solved by this action.
