Default MSN Music downloads

Can anyone tell me what format you get with MSN music downloads? I tried
itunes and was unable to get it to work. What was worse, the AAC format is
protected and I could not convert the songs I purchased to another format
and burn them in another program. I also could not delete itunes totally
from my PC even in Safe Mode. Now I have a new PC and I want to download
music but I want something I can use in Windows Media. Help!

WMA (Windows Media Audio) format. You can convert almost any music
format from one to another, but some will lose quality.

Music Download Services Compared - Printer Friendly -
Scroll down to MSN Music (99 cents per song).
