I used to be able to open the sound settings and select LINE IN as a source
for recording. But now when I open it, I can click on the selection box but it won't select. It's somehow locked on STEREO MIX. I can't record anything I plug into the Line In port like I used to. Can anybody tell me how to fix this? Thank you. |

Rightclick the Volume icon, probably next to clock, and click Open Volume
Control. Now check if the Line-in slider is up at least half way and the Mute box is NOT checked. If Line-in is not listed, click Options on the left and check Advanced Controls. -- XP-WNP Today is the first day of the rest of your life.
