When I try to play certain cd's in my media center I get a message saying
FAILED PLATFORM WINDOWS XP NOT SUPPORTED...can I do anything so I cn play these cd"s? They are not burned cd's they are new from the store...thank you |

It means that you do not have an application that will support playing the
format of the files/music on the CD. Check the format of the music files using Windows Explorer. Go to www.musicmatch.com and download a FREE copy. If you like it (I do)
you can buy the PLUS option. I have uninstalled WMP10 because it would NOT allow me to burn in WAV format, only WMA or compressed MP3. Prerecorded CDs are for the most part WAV.
