I appear to have lost this drive from my computer and I cant open the door
any suggestions whats happened and what I should do?

First, doubleclick the My Computer icon on your desktop and see if the
drive is listed. If Yes, rightclick it and click Eject, that should open it,
remove any disk in there and reboot your PC, it may solve your problem.
If No, then your PC is not recognizing the drive and will need to be checked
for a lose data cable or power cord, that means you may have to open your
PC case and do some checking there. Repost if you have no luck with the
above quick fixes. :~)
