I am trying to figure out why I can't play CD's that have been ripped with
Windows Media Player 10 on other CD players. It will play on some but not on others. Any words of wisdom. |

The best bet is to burn in true CDA format. It may be because the music you are trying to copy is protected.Windows puts
protection on some files to stop you from coping the music and selling it. "Deb" wrote: > I am trying to figure out why I can't play CD's that have been ripped with > Windows Media Player 10 on other CD players. It will play on some but not on > others. Any words of wisdom. |

That would only affect the ability to burn to CD in the first place. Once it's on the CD as CD Audio, it should just work unless the CD session wasn't closed and the playback device in question doesn't support unclosed sessions. -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
