Default MediaPlayer9 sounds like it's playing fastand jumps

Hello All,

I have MediaPlayer9 that when playing sound fast and jumps, lots of
popping and cracking noises, most of which sound unrecognizable. I've
tried upgrading to 10 with same results. Installed the WM9Codecs.exe
from Microsoft also, still no good. But there is an exception, if I
reboot it will play ok until I close Media Player, then when I open it
again, it's back to garbage again. I've tried wav files also, sill
sounds the same.

Since the normal Windows sounds (ie Close program, New Mail
Notification) play through my sound card and they sound ok I have to
think it's not the sound card. Anyone have any idea's please let me
know.

Thanks
Dave
