I can't figure out what is wrong. I try to insert a sound into an OE
message. If it's a wave file it will play (I can hear it), BUT if it's a midi file, I can't hear anything. I have gone to the music files and opened the midis and it appears they are playing but I can't hear anything. When doing the same thing with wave and MP3, I can hear them. I sent myself a message with a midi embedded and when I received it, I couldn't hear anything. I have embedded midis into messages for years, now I can't! Very frustrating! Can someone please help? |

Open WMP>click Tools>Options>File Types tab
Now check MIDI, click Apply and OK -- XP-WNP Today is the first day of the rest of your life. If this post was helpful, please rate it. "Susan" wrote: > I can't figure out what is wrong. Thanks for your response! I had already checked the file types and Midi was
checked. I ended up re-downloading WMP 10 out of total frustration. Now everything works. Sometimes applications just decide not to work? I would recommend re downloading to anyone with this problem. Frustrating. I wasted a good amount of time trying to figure it out and never did.
