Default MMJB 10 a real pain!

I've used MusicMatch almost from the beginning. I've always loved the
interface, the lookup functionality and the ease of burning audio cd's.
However their latest has caused nothing but headaches! The burner will
only burn at 4x, when looking up track info it frequently hangs and it
seems to use a massive amount of resources!
I've tried other software and they seem to work fine Nero burns at 44x,
Acoustica burns a 40x. I really like Musicmatchs "all in one approach
but I'm going to have to uninstall. Any suggestions would be
appreciated.

My hardware is:

Gigabyte GA7N400 Pro v2 motherboard
AMD XP3200+ cpu
2 gigs Crucial pc-3200 memory
Aopen DUW 1608 dvd/cd burner
2 160 gig SATA drives - Raid 0
Win XP Pro sp2

Sorry, I don't have any suggestions, because MM wants you to pay for the
faster download. I agree it is now a resource hog, and slow as molasses
when loading [for me], but otherwise works fine. My downloads didn't seem
so slow, but I haven't compared them to other software.

If you like it *enough*, I think they reduced their monthly fee recently,
for their super duper service and faster downloads.
