I never looked at the Library before I recently upgraded to WMP 10. I burn
CDs often for my students and have always done it from Windows Explorer, using "Send To CD Drive." Now I see "Add to Burn List." Do I assume correctly that the "old way" doesn't work any more? Apparently it is a good idea to select items to be burned, or played, from within WMP's Library. Can I use the Library like Windows Explorer? Create new folders in the left pane and then move files into them? What is the procedure for moving files either from Windows Explorer or from the WMP Library out of one folder and into another. I've tried dragging but it doesn't work. It seems to make sense to "recreate" my Windows Explorer folder tree in the Library. Good idea? Can it be done? |

Those are different things. "Sent to CD drive" uses the Windows Explorer burning front end, "Add to Burn list" uses WMP's burning front end. No, the left Library pane is generally fixed. No, as noted, you can't drag and drop like that. -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
