Default Problems downloading mp3 files

I have an issue where my PC will not allow me to download music as mp3 files
etc.
Where I have to right click and "Save target as....", the Save as box
appears and will only allow me to save the file as an HTML file or all files.
This was working perfectly and now has now changed and is winding me up big
time!!

Can anyone help me??

That is primarily caused by having a "dirty", Temp file, in other words,
when was the last time you cleaned your system? Go here for a starter:
Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Cleanup
Do not delete Compressed or Client files. Clean your Recycle Bin also.
Open IE (Internet Explorer)>Tools>Internet Options>click Delete Cookies>
click Delete Files including offline content.
There are many more items to check for, but this will get you started.

When that happens to me, I open the page separately. Then I hit the file
icon and save target as. That usually works.
