Media player 10 tracks don't start from the start!!!

Got a new pc a few weeks ago and have noticed that when I click on a track to
play it, it rarely starts from the beginning and usually starts a few seconds
in. The only way to get it play from the start of the track is to pull the
bar back to the start and let it play from there. Subsquently i've also
upgraded to nero 7 just the other day and that leaves off the starts of
tracks when burning.

Can anyone help with the media problem? I have the same version running on
my laptop with the same tracks and it works fine, it also worked fine on my
old pc.

The Track is actually playing from the beginning, but it starts playing
while the app is still loading, thus you miss the first few seconds. Load
Media Player first before you click on a Track and see what happens.

Its any track, and media player 10 is always loaded up. If I change track it
stil skips sceonds, even when the track comes on as part of a playlist it
skips.
