Default media player 10 - license/chip upgrade problem

I have a Dell and have upgraded the CPU chip to a faster Intel P4 chip. When
taking the old chip out, I damaged it, so I cant use it any longer. Since I
have the new chip, I cant download/pay for songs on media player music store
or any pay site for that matter such as walmart.com etc. It gives me the
license error and tells me to restore or back up. I never backed up the
license on the old CPU chip. How can I correct this so I can download and pay
for songs online? I am using Windows XP home edition and Media Player 10.
Would this correc the problem if I re-installed Win XP home edition? Or if I
upgrade to win xp professional edition? Please help. Thank you!

By changing hardware like that, your license store doesn't match up. If you
hadn't backed up licenses, the old licenses are lost. At this point, you
would probably need to reset your DRM store. Does the "More Info"/"Web
Help" option point out any more useful info here?
