Removable Device doesn't show up in my computer

When I plug in my mp3 player or digital camera it doesn't show up as being
attached in my computer even though on the device itself it says it is. I've
installed the drivers from the CDs I got with them but it still won't show up
in my computer.

Any ideas? thanks

ive got the same problem, im trying to use some recording software, but i
cant get my pc to recognise my podxtlive which im using as a pre-amp to
record. i dont think it came with a cd 2 install anything, so i though it
might just recognise it. help!!!

Push or press the power button (ON) and then check under
My Computer to see if the MP3 player is listed. And under
Scanners and cameras see if the camera is listed. Just plugging
it in will not show until activated. When you click it on you should
hear a "ding-dong" sound meaning your PC recognizes the device.
