sound get louder when moving the seek bar

Default sound get louder when moving the seek bar

When I move the seek bar the volume get very high. the valume bar could be
on the lowest setting, but when I use the seek bar the sound goes up all the
way. what is causing it? How do I solve it ? other media programs don't
have this problem. Only windows media player's latest version
....Please help

I have Windows Media Player version 10, but I have no idea what
a "seek bar" is or looks like. I checked the Help and Index and there
is no listing. Can you be more specific on what you are referring to?
Or, maybe someone else reading this post can be of help.

You're using a Dell machine with a Soundblaster card. Get the updated
Creative drivers - Dell shipped your machine with buggy drivers. =P
