Default Midi Player Plug-in

I had Crescendo Plug-in. It no longer works, as far as I know, because it was
supported by liveupdate.com and it seems they no longer support Crescendo.

I recently got Windows XP and I downloaded Netscape 7. It did not include a
midi player plug-in. I have a website on which I have a midi. I want this
midi to auto play which it did with Crescendo.

I want a plug-in to play this midi. I don't want Real Player because it is
too aggressive.
I looked at Quick Time, but it is a 33 megabyte download. That is bigger than
the browser and seems a bit of overkill.

Does anyone know of a smaller, less aggressive plug-in that I can install in
my browser which will auto play the midi?

I don't know if I made myself completely clear. I wanted a midi player for
Netscape. I checked the link for the midi player and I couldn't see any place
where it said anything about being a plug-in for Netscape. It said it was
compatible with IE. I have a midi player for IE.
