I've been using Windows Media Player to back up my CD collection and am quite
familiar with the program. However, I recently noticed that it has started ripping the CDs at around 290 Kbps. Since I have it set at variable from 135 to 215 Kbps, I expect it to rip at around 180 Kbps or so. I set it to variable 85 to 145 and the rips respond, but then when I go back to 135 to 215, it goes back to around 290 again. It was working fine before, so what could have caused it to act up like this? |
