Soundmon.exe? Sound lost?

Default Soundmon.exe? Sound lost?
I have recently lost my sound on my Windows XP computer, and I don't know why.
Is there a connection with that and Soundmon.exe? At every login, an error
message says that it can't find Soundmon.exe. Please help!
