My pc now refuses to recognise my ipod shuffle when it is plugged into any of
the usb ports. When I first connected it and loaded the ipod software the pc detected it but only intermittently (it seemed to go on and off line). It then reported that there was a comms error and ever since there's no sign of it being detected. The ipod works ok on 2 friends pcs. My printer and camera work ok on my pc usb slots. My pc has a Gigabyte GA-7S748 motherboard with SIS 748 chipset running xp home. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks |

I had a similar problem and resolved it by re-installing the ipod software
updater and re-installing itunes. During install you should indicate that you want to repair itunes when asked. Hope this helps. |
