Since upgrading to XP Pro I cannot use MP 10 to play any music previously
downloaded from Napster, or get any new music from them. I get error messages re licences and the fabulous "Windows Media Player encountered an unknown error. This can occur when another program or operating system component encounters a problem but does not communicate the nature of the problem to the Player." Any help greatly accepted. |

Upgrading from what to XP Pro? You'll now need to upgrade your
soundcard drivers that are compatible with XP. Go to the manufacturers website to do that, they are FREE. -- XP - WNP Today is the first day of the rest of your life. I upgraded from XP Home. I can play music from CD, but not any stored on my
hard drive. When I try and get more music from Napster I get a licence error message. You may need to do a reset of the settings at the Napster website
that are compatible with your new OS. -- XP - WNP Today is the first day of the rest of your life. "creedman" wrote: > I upgraded from XP Home.
