For a while, did I rip my own cd's with WMP and then a lot of information as
name of the artist, name of the album etc. on the screen by itself.
At this moment do I want to rip and is everything unknown.
Does anybody know how I can get the cd-information back on the screen?

This is either:
* A temporary hiccup and it should now be working.
* Your IE temporary files cache is full - clear that and you should be good
to go.
* A player library corruption. If you reset the player library-

, you should be good to go.
* A Dell. Run "regsvr32 wmp.dll" to fix this.
* A user profile corruption. In this case, a second user acount on the
system should be able to retrieve metadata.

Which one of those covers your issue?
