Play Speed settings can't affect this as far as I'm aware. This sounds like a device driver issue- http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#chipmunks should cover it. =) -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info. I just installed WMP10 and Play Speed settings are at "normal". Same thing
happened with WMP9. Audio setting is at "full" acceleration and when I lower it, it the "chipmunks" are still singing. I go back and check the acceleration speed and it's back up to "full" again...go figure. That would be a buggy sound card driver then... you should look for updates from your sound card vendor. -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
