Hey all,
I have a laptop and about three desktop machines all going through the same router. The laptop is using a wireless protocol, and the desktops are directly connected via regular (RJ45) ethernet cables. The desktops all belong to one workgroup, and the laptop to another. The desktops can see each other in terms of sharing folders and printers and such. They can also see the laptop. However, the laptop can't see the desktops (i.e., their workgroup does not appear in the "Microsoft Windows Network" tree. Can anyone give me a hint as to why this might be? Thank. Dave |

Read this article, and linked articles, and follow instructions precisely: <http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/05/troubleshooting-network-neighborhood.html#AskingForHelp> http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/0...#AskingForHelp -- Cheers, Chuck, MS-MVP [Windows - Networking] http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/ Paranoia is not a problem, when it's a normal response from experience.
