Hello all,
Here's the problem I am experiencing: Remote users dial in. Laptops are not members of the domain. They access shares and Outlook. When accessing Outlook they provide their user ID, domain name and password. If they are using XP, sometimes they will get an error that the login info was incorrect. I've checked the logs on the Exchange server and what I found was that their laptop was replacing what they entered with the laptops name and the local user id. I am now experiencing this problem when they try to map a drive. Sometimes if they reboot, it will work. So far I have had to rename one pc to the domain name and change the local user account to match the domain account to get it to work. |
