Most home broadband routers let you configure them through a web interface. If you can do that on your router, change its LAN IP address to a different subnet, such as 192.168.1.x. You can probably access the router's web interface, for now, at http://192.168.0.1 2. Install two network adapters on your computer, create a network bridge between them, connect the router to one of them, and connect the PDA to the other one. For more information: XP ICS - Network Bridge http://www.practicallynetworked.com/...workbridge.htm 3. Do you need to share files and printers with the other computers? If not, you can get a new router to give Internet access to your computer and the PDA. Connect the new router's WAN port to the cable that now connects to your computer, and connect your computer and the PDA to the new router's LAN ports. Configure the new router to use a subnet other than 192.168.0.x for its LAN. If you want wireless access on the PDA, get a wireless router. -- Best Wishes, Steve Winograd, MS-MVP (Windows Networking) Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group for everyone to see.
