yes I have. Also, I just did load win xp pro on ours (I upgraged our computer
with new hard drive and such). It was doing the same thing before I upgraded. Check the network protocols you need are installed for the
NIC/LAN. If you've got SP{2, the Windows firewall is ON by default, either use a third party firewall, or in any case set your LAN computers to trusted zone. -- The people think the Constitution protects their rights; But government sees it as an obstacle to be overcome. some support http://www.usdoj.gov/olc/secondamendment2.htm "adradon" <adradon@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:99AD1E28-FB33-43C8-9032-EAD409CCC7BC@microsoft.com... | yes I have. I turned off windows firewall and turned on the one which came with my
antivirus. I am still getting the same results. I'm not sure how to set the computers to trusted zone. I did turn off the firewall for the home network while leaving it on for the internet "Jim Macklin" wrote: > Check the network protocols you need are installed for the > NIC/LAN.
