Start with looking for a firewall problem - be imaginative and read the whole article. <http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/05/your-personal-firewall-can-either-help.html> http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/0...ther-help.html Next check for an LSP / Winsock problem. <http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/05/problems-with-lsp-winsock-layer-in.html> http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/0...-layer-in.html Please let us know if any of these suggestions are of any help. Could be a name resolution or protocol issue. Make sure that all required protocols and services are running on both computers. <http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/05/troubleshooting-network-neighborhood.html#Components> http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/0...tml#Components If that doesn't help, go thru my troubleshooting guides. <http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/10/irregularities-in-workgroup-visibility.html> http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/1...isibility.html <http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/05/troubleshooting-network-neighborhood.html> http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/0...ghborhood.html -- Cheers, Chuck, MS-MVP [Windows - Networking] http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/ Paranoia is not a problem, when it's a normal response from experience.
