I have a laptop with windows XP home edition that doesn't connect to the
internet, the wireless card connect to the wireless network picks up a dhcp address but cannot browse the internet, I cannot ping any address like yahoo.com. Also when I connect the laptop to the wired network using the builtin network adapter, it also picks up an address from the dhcp server, but cannot access the internet, the firewall on winxp is turned off, I took this laptop to a different network and I have the same response. Any ideas of what needs to be done or why this is happening? |
