when I try to visit a certain website I get the HTTP Error 403.2. I have
visited this webpage many times before and had no problems out of it. But for the last two weeks I have been getting this error: The page cannot be displayed There is a problem with the page you are looking for and it cannot be displayed. This error can occur if you are trying to display an HTML page that resides in a directory that is configured to allow Execute or Script permissions only. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Please try the following: Contact the Web site administrator if you believe this directory shouldallow read access. HTTP Error 403.2 - Forbidden: Read access is denied.Internet Information Services (IIS) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Technical Information (for support personnel) Go to Microsoft Product Support Services and perform a title search for thewords HTTP and 403. Open IIS Help, which is accessible in IIS Manager (inetmgr), and search fortopics titled Using Virtual Directories, Changing Default Web Site Settings, and About Custom Error Messages. I went to that support website but it didn't help at all. I have MicrosoftXP service pack 1 and I use Internet Explorer. I have no idea what IIS is and couldn't find IIS help. If any knows how I can fix this please reply. -- ![]() Message posted via http://www.windowskb.com |

I didn't really think they would change it back to read access for me so I was wondering if I could change the IE settings on my pc to make the default settings for this website to be Script or Execute. Is that possible? If so could someone please tell me how? -- ![]() Message posted via WindowsKB.com http://www.windowskb.com/Uwe/Forums....twork/200511/1 |
