Hi,
iam facing a strange problem. My network consists of 4 systems -3 laptops and i desktop. Desktop is configured as win2003 for dhcp and wins server. basically it is a peer to peer network with no domain. Out of 3 laptops i never had a problem with the 2 laptops but the other laptop is loosing connectivity suddenly. All laptops configuration winxp professional.when i restart the machine net gets connected for 1 minute and then suddenly connection drops and private address assigned automatically. i connect to the net using DSL Modem from the desktop. As suggested i pointed my dns address to the desktop server but no change. Even i give isp dns also connection is dropping frequently. can anyone help me in this matter please. All ideas welcome. Tarun |
