I am having a problem with my home network, here goes...
3 Computers: 1 - Laptop P3 650Mhz,20GB,128MB,NetGear 108MBWireless Network Card 2 - PC's 1 - Dell GX260, NetGear USB Wireless 1 - Mutt (AMD XP 2000+, 120/60/40GB, 1GB, Wired to Router The laptop and Dell can both see each other and talk to each other (shared printer and files), both are wireless. Neither the laptop or Dell will talk to the mutt or vise versa. They are all running Windows XP Pro SP2 with the latest updates. The firewall is disabled on all 3. All 3 units can ping and access the router individually and can access the internet. I have been fighting this fight for over a month befor asking for help. |

sounds like you have your router set to seperate the wireless section of your
network from your wired section (there is a name for it but it escapes my at 5.30 in the morning) you need to set you router to infrastructure mode that should sort it out |

This looks like a typical Network Neighborhood visibility issue, but one that can have many causes. <http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/10/irregularities-in-workgroup-visibility.html> http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/1...isibility.html -- Cheers, Chuck, MS-MVP [Windows - Networking] http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/ Paranoia is not a problem, when it's a normal response from experience.
