Apologies if this is not the right group for this question.
Update 885250 on Windows xp sp2 desktops is preventing users from seeing files created after the installation of the patch. When they browse to a share on a Windows 2003 sp1 storage Server (on a Dell NAS box) through a mapped drive or UNC they canot see files they have just created. The files exist on the server. Other windows 2003 standard servers with SP1 have no problem. After removing the patch from the desktops everything is fine. So far I have been unable to find a workaround. Does anyone here have any ideas or found a solution? |
