Default Challenging problem

My laptop have a wireless connection to an accesspoint, that supports
uPnP. I have an IP-telephony box with uPnP. I would like to connect
them together and start using my box for telephony, but I can't make it
work. The accesspoint is a D-link 624+ and it clearly supports uPnP,
but I don' have physical access to it, so I cant just connect the box
to it, so I was thinking of using my laptop as a relay to the internet,
i.e box to laptop, laptop to AP, AP to internet. I have enabled uPnP on
winxp and it works fine but the uPnP is not being forwarded to the
D-link. I am using internet connection sharing on my laptop, it gives
me an IP in the 192.168.0.* range, the D-link gives me 172.168.0.*

I am clueless, it worked fine for a while, but the laptop batteries
died on me and now it doesn't work.
