I have and isp dial up connection (that does connect all the time)
But than I have another one with a red X (local area connection)that comes in my task bar that says network cable is unplugged. I have no other computers hooked up in the house...just the one with the dial up isp. Can I disable the local area connection one without interfering with my computer or connection? |

You can safely disable an unused local area connection. -- Best Wishes, Steve Winograd, MS-MVP (Windows Networking) Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group for everyone to see.
