If not, does anyone know where to find a free one? It depends upon what your phone service provides, and what your ISP does when another call comes in. If your phone service allows call waiting, and it is compatible with your ISP, you can generally add #70, to your dial string. For some ISPs, it may be ^70, or *70. You need to contact your ISP on how to do this. Bobby |

It depends on whether you have a V92 modem and certain other conditions.
See http://www.v92.com/faqs/ for more information. -- "Rattle-Trap" <Rattle-Trap@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:9A03F856-2283-4C1C-9D7D-5C972B44CD30@microsoft.com... > Does windows platform have a call alert so i dont miss call's when i am > using > dial up?
