ok did it again and tried more options:
Selections: wireless=1 os=1 portable=1 ip=1 computer_not_accessible=1
workgroup_not_accessible=1 computers_or_shares_missing=1

only one i could find was the 'The RestrictAnonymous registry value'

changed it to '0' from '2'

still, can't get use the wizard nor get the(other computer's) shared folder
to show. the workgroup shows the other computer thiough i can't access it.
