Hi there,
I have a strange problem. When my pc is connected to a LAN (wired) then I cannot browse on that computer. When I open "my computer", it just opens the main window which the flashlight whÃ*ch keeps looking. The when I try to logoff that user, the explorer.exe stops responding message shows up. When I logon with another user account then I do not have these problems... I tried to delete the user account with the problems, made a new one (with admin rights), still the same problem. When I disconnect the LAN cable, then it just comes up with the explorer window as it should. I tried different NICs, all the latest updates, scanned for virusses, spyware. All clear on that. Tried to place the nic in another slot, still same problem. Tried the drivers from the manufacturer (3com, 3c905b tx), no result. I have 3 user accounts and it seems like the other 2 don't have any problems. Tried to reinstall xp, still the same problems. |
