I have a Windows Xp SP2 client trying to log into a local domain. Client had
a virus (don't know which one but has now been disinfected). Getting "domain unavailable" message and event id 1053 in the event log. Ipconfig shows client is getting correct ip address, can also resolve dns and ping gateway and dc. I have checked host and lmhost files (all ok) - any suggestions about what to try next before a re-install of Win XP? |

Repair the TCP/IP stack with LSPFIX or a similar utility?
